• Retractable Litter Top: The bed frame is designed to retract as the head section is raised, ensuring the patient remains close to their belongings and reducing the need for constant repositioning.
• Low Bed Height: A minimum low height of 16 inches (41 cm) facilitates safer patient entry and exit, significantly aiding in fall prevention. The maximum height is 30 inches (76 cm).
• Chaperone® Bed Exit System (Optional): This patented technology utilizes center-of-gravity sensing to accurately track a patient’s position and provides timely alerts if they attempt to exit the bed, offering an advanced fall prevention solution.
• Central Brake System: A four-wheel, steel-ring brake system with centrally-located activation pedals ensures the bed is securely locked in place for all patient transfers and procedures.
